We recently just had a furnace and AC units installed. The technicians that worked in our home were very respectful of our home, as well as my husband and my wishes. Although in the end piping was not set-up to our liking, Seamus came out and went over the issues that we had and without hesitation he arranged for things to be changed. The dispatcher at this company i think her name is Jane. She is so wonderful and always so helpful. She always accommodates me and my crazy schedule. This is a great company to use. Very impressed with the ladies in the office for always giving such great customer service!
I recently had my original outdated non-efficient furnace and rusty old non-working AC unit replaced. I had an extremely positive experience with a local company and would like to share my reviews.
For the past 6+years, I have been living without proper heat distribution throughout my whole house, pretty much living with the hopes that "heat rises" method would heat my house. As far as my central air conditioning, it just didn't work.
Year after year, I would get fed up living like this, and would reach out to several well known companies to get an opinion of what they felt was wrong, how to correct it, and would get such varied opinions and heart attack status prices quotes, that I would become overwhelmed and convince myself it wasn't that bad.
One company actually insisted the only way to access the situation was to tear down my entire lower level, so that was not an option, and quite frankly seemed a bit extreme.
First impressions are everything! I was impressed with Amanda Root, one of the owners from TriCity Heating and Cooling here in Milford. She was very professional, prompt in returning my calls, and took the time to listen to my long list of concerns and assured me I would not have the same experiences I had in the past and understood my needs and my request to have only a seasoned technician assess my equipment needs.
I met directly with the owner Seamus. My first impression was he presented himself in a professional manner, he was easy going, down to earth, easy to talk to, and most importantly made me feel like he knew exactly what was wrong and how to effectively fix it the proper way.
Compared to the other price quotes I received, his pricing was very reasonable. As a woman, I especially appreciated his way of respectfully explaining technical issues.
On the day of install, his crew, lead man Mario and tech Marc arrived as scheduled and on time. Before they even set foot in my door, I already felt at ease with being greeted with genuine smiles, as I appreciate having someone who is working on my house who actually loves his job and is looking forward to doing it, as they both clearly do.
They put on protective booties over their workboots and layed down material tarps for additional floor protection. Something I was relieved to see they did without having to ask them, as I just had new wood flooring installed.
I couldn't resist the urge to check-in from time to time, but each time, they were both diligently hard at work. They took just as much time, effort, and pride in disassembling my old broken units as they did in installing them. They worked long hours, nonstop, determined to fix my crazy patched up, hacked up nightmare of a mess I had grown to live with.
Everyone has their own interpretation of what is a neat and acceptable job. However, in the end, Mario and Marc keep their word in saying don't worry, it's going to look really nice and neat when we are done. Beforehand, I had wires and tubes and hoses tangled and dangling, duct tape, black electrical tape, everywhere. Now, with all the nice new wires and hoses installed so perfectly straight and neat, and properly secured to the wall, I actually felt the need to brag about my new wires in my review!
At the final part of my install, I had the pleasure of meeting Seamus Jr. He was helping me program my brand new "smart" thermostats as well as pair them to my tablet and cell phone. Something that the younger generation can easily setup and whip through in a flash, I felt intimidated by at first glance. It took me a few tries, but with his calm demeanor and patient insistence to try again, it finally "clicked" in my old fashioned brain and I finally got it and realized how simple and convenient that they are to use!
I truly couldn't be happier with every representative from their company from start to finish and therefore would absolutely recommend and rate my personal experience a 10 out of 10!
