The Dirtiest Spots In Your Kitchen

Have you ever cleaned your kitchen and still thought to yourself, “it still looks dirty?” The kitchen can be a very dirty place, with some spots being more messy than others. In order to give your kitchen a good cleaning, make sure to clean these dirtiest spots you might not have thought of.

Under the Oven
You’ve probably spent hours cleaning the stovetop, the metal grates, inside of the oven, and the oven door — but did you clean underneath the appliance? Carefully pull your oven out from against the wall and sweep any crumbs and dust that resides underneath. While the oven is out from against the wall, grab a rag and wipe down the sides to remove any food or oil that might’ve spilled in between the oven and countertop.

The Refrigerator Gasket
Open up your refrigerator and look at the gasket attached to the door. This seal is one of the filthiest places in your entire kitchen as it s filled with more food particles and grime than you’d care to know. Using a white vinegar (or soapy water) soaked rag, wipe down this seal. Make sure you get into all of the nooks and crannies so there is nor grime left in any of the creases.

Cabinet Doors and Drawers
Spills and splatters happen left and right when you’re cooking in the kitchen. Whether you’re cooking with oil, spilling a drink, or splattering a sauce, liquid debris can make its way to the front of your cabinets and drawers. Using a cleaner made for that surface’s material, spray and wipe down all of the facades of your cabinets and drawers. You’ll be surprised on how much splattered gunk is currently on the surface of your kitchen.

You’ve wiped the countertops, cleared the table, and scrubbed the stove, but now it’s time to take it a step further. Not only should your kitchen appliances be clean, but they should also be properly functioning. When you need appliance repair, contact Tri-City Heating and Cooling.
